I have a female leopard gecko, she's about two years old. We got her in Florida but recently moved up to Minnesota. She was having shedding problems, (as was our ball python). But out leopard gecko's problem worsened when she developed yellow "caps" over her eyes and her toes would not shed at all. To our understanding, the problem WAS the humidity change from tropics to being up north. So we began giving both of them warm baths. Both began to show improvments on shedding and I got a humidifier which has helpd alot. But the remaining problem is, after the leopard gecko removed one of the caps herself, it oozed yellow and she wouldnt open it. We helped get the other off and same thing happened. Now, with out any shedding on her left, she wont open her eyes unless she is assisted with light rubbing of a cotton swab. And when she DOES manage to open them, they are coated in what looks like a green mucus. Upon recomendation by a fellow leopard gecko owner, i have been helping her open her eyes once a day and administering two drops of "Repti Turtle Eye Drops". She seems to respond very well to this, for a short amount of time, until she closes her eyes after about an hour, then they wont open again. I've been using the eye drops for about a week now, but would like to know what this could be and if theres any way to help?

Hello,

How are you?

I am emailing you to see if I can get your opinion on something.

If you see below pictures, my iguana tail has a couple of small kinks at the end- I am trying to work out if these are signs of MDB or damage from where he has whipped a branch / cage when I was taming him. I have taken some photos of his legs as I know you can sometimes spot signs of MDB from them. He does have 2 No. UV repti sun 5.0 bulbs in his cage and I provide heat by a regular spot light and ceramic.

I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Thanks,

Daniel
