Corn Snake Diet
corn snakes are carnivores and will ONLY eat rodents such as mice and rats although all the garter snakes i have owned love eating frogs. offer your corn snake a frozen rodent that has been thawed out over night weekly. use tongs for feeding your snake unless you wanna get bit. with the tongs you must dangle the rodent around and let the snake know its there then once it sees it gently place it somewhere where it cant ingest the substrate and let the snake eat. its common for a snake to skip a feeding especially if shedding or if there has been a change in tempature. if your snake has gone without two feedings either leave me a question explaining whats going on or contact a local veternarian. just remember i do this for free LOL.snakes will drink and soak in a shallow water dish so make sure the dish is big enough for your snake to be in. to help keep your snakes shedding proccess more "enjoyable" mist your snake everyother day. you will also need to refill the water dish daily.
