Chinese water dragons are omnivores so there are several diet categories we need to discuss. the first one is insects: crickets and mealworms must be given to your dragon daily insects play a big part in your dragons diet and must be dusted with a calcium (sold at petstores) twice weekly. next is veggies which should be offered 2 tablespoons once to twice weekly Kale, collard, mustard, zucchini, brocoli, make sure to put calcium on the veggies as well.and lastly is fruits. papaya, banana and melon should be offered once weekly 1/2 teaspoon will be good enough for your dragon. remove the fruit after four hours. Now we'll discuss water. You will need a soaking dish large enough for your dragon to soak in. mist your dragons habitat daily to maintain the humidity. you will also need to clean the food and water bowls daily.
